Action Society Website. Give a Hoot is a new not-for-profit society committed to building a strong community
in White Rock and South Surrey. Please browse the website for information about special events, projects, blogs

Local Currency
March 16, 2008
The local currency campaign is on the move. We are going to start selling the idea to local residents
and businesses in the next couple of months. In order to make this happen we need some help.
We are looking for a couple of local people to help us design some local currency bills. We are starting
from scratch completely, so if you would like to become involved in the project, and have some ideas /
artwork / pictures of local landmarks that you think would fit well on our bills, then let us know
(our new contact info is at the bottom of this email). We would really like to get started on this ASAP,
and we are going to start looking for some graphic designers to help us out. This would be some awesome
publicity for local artists / designers / photographers, so let us know if you or someone you know is
interested. We would like to have a first draft done by the end of May, so get in touch with us ASAP.

The Give a Hoot Website is now online! After
many hours of work and much tribulation all of our information can now be found in one place. Check back often for news,
events and other action.
If you have stumbled across our website and like that you see then you should join our
